Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR) (0.14 km away)
Named after our first Yang di-Pertuan Agong, this colourful stretch of road is filled to the brim with eateries and shopping arcades. It comes alive every Saturday night from 5pm to 10pm where it’s transformed into a night market. Here, a wide assortment of goods are sold at affordable prices. It’s a great place for both a Malaysian experience and to learn the art of bargaining from the locals. You can get here in 3 minutes by foot.
Asian Heritage Row (1 km away)
Enjoy great dining, live music, and clubbing at hip joints in this tastefully revamped pre-war residence. You can get here in 8 minutes by foot.
Hard Rock Cafe - Jalan Sultan Ismail (1 km away)
Any idea how far away Malaysia is? Remember that Seinfeld episode when Elaine didn't want anyone to know where she got her cool new glasses, so she told people she got them in Malaysia? It's far. But worry not: no matter how far from home you’ve roamed, there's a Hard Rock Cafe on every coast.
Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square) (2 km away)
A well known historical landmark in Malaysia - when Malaysia’s independence was declared, the Malaysian flag was first raised here. Feel the majestic aura and spirit of independence at the Independence Day festival which is held on August 31st. You can opt to take the LRT from the Sultan Ismail station and hop off at the Masjid Jamek station.
    KL Tower (3 km away)
Soaring to 421 metres and considered a main feature of the city skyline, the KL Tower is the world's fourth tallest communications tower. To experience the exhilarating view from the KL Tower, you can go to the 335-metre high observation deck on a high-speed lift. From here, the city's eccentric architecture and lush greenery will be laid out before you.
Petaling Street, Chinatown (3 km away)
Petaling Street, the centre of Kuala Lumpur's original Chinatown, maintains much of its traditional atmosphere - particularly at night when vendors fan out their merchandise along the street. While you can shop for anything from gems and incense to toys and T-shirts, the true allure of this night market is in wandering about and enjoying its sights
Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC (4 km away)
The 88-storey towers are the world's tallest twin structures. Located in the heart of the capital city, the crown of Kuala Lumpur contains a complex of office buildings, conference halls, a sprawling park, and an upmarket shopping complex.
    Aquaria KLCC (4 km away)
Aquaria KLCC is the first commercial aquarium in Kuala Lumpur, and a wonderful place to spend the school holidays with your family. This RM60 million aquarium features some 5,000 exhibits of over 150 different aquatic and marine species from Malaysia and around the world.
    Bintang Walk (6 km away)
For both shopaholics and coffee-sipping night owls, Bukit Bintang is one of the hippest streets in the city. It’s a perfect place for people-watching over a latte between bouts of bargain-hunting. A wide pedestrian walkway running the length of the street has transformed it into an exciting rendezvous point with open-air cafés and restaurants.
